IMANDIX Cover is a software that automatically converts your cover bitmap into a 3D preview of what it would look like in a real case. You simply load your cover bitmap file and the software generates a 3D illustration of it. You can use these illustrations at your web site or prints or just to see how the cover case looks like with your own cover bitmap.

 
There are two versions available:

  • IMANDIX Cover Professional. Check out the home page to get the current version.
  • IMANDIX Cover Standard (Vers. 0.9.9.9). Scroll down to see the features of this freeware version

    Professional version

    Export your 3D illustrations as JPG files, dynamic JavaScript controlled HTML pages or real transparent PNG files.

    You can create virtual product shots of these media:

  • All DVD cover sizes (Thin box, Amaray, … to the big cases that hold 10 discs)
  • Blu-ray cases (12.5, 15 and 25 mm spine width)
  • CD cases (Slim case, Jewel case, Jewel case with clear edge)
  • Discs (standard and full face label)
  • Super Jewel case (coming next)
  • Nearly all Digipaks (from 4 mm to 15 mm spine width)
  • Paul Champagne designer boxes (all sizes, cases that hold Blu-rays coming soon)
  • Custom cases (Poster, magazine, paperback)
  • Custom boxes (like software boxes or packages)

    You can create virtual product shots of DVD boxes. Other cases are not supported.

     

  • Cover view using various 3D templates.
  • Option to include own templates.
  • Display up to 30 covers in a row.
  • Intensity of light and shadows adjustable.
  • User defined case color and background color.
  • Preset output size or custom sizes up to 2000 x 2000 Pixel.
  • Optional export as JPG, BMP, PNG, PCX, TIF with further format dependant settings.
  • Perspective and angle adjustable for multiple covers.
  • Generating and saving of 3D cover previews for multiple covers in a batch run.
  • Support for all popular DVD case sizes.
  • While loading a cover bitmap, the correct case size is preset according to dimensions and ratios.
  • Rotating view of a cover (animation).
  • Rotation speed and direction adjustable.
  • Export of the rotating cover as AVI with user defined frame rates and video size, as webpage with Javascript or as fully interactive Java applet.
  • All settings including window positions are stored when the program is closed and are available when the program is started again.
  • Multilingual: Currently in german, english and dutch.
  • The languages are stored in textfiles, so that custom language files can be used. If desired, the program will create an according template.
  • Clearly laid out program panels in shades of gray to keep you concentrated on results.
