Welcome to IMANDIX.
You simply load your cover bitmap file and the software generates a 3D illustration of it. You can use these illustrations at your web site or prints or just to see how the cover case looks like with your own cover bitmap. You can create virtual product shots of your media. In case you are selling only files over the Internet, but you want to show a virtual cover, this software is the right one for you.
IMANDIX is used by…
Filmmakers
Assuming that you are working as a filmmaker and you designed your movie cover… Or you want to show your complete movie collection.
Music artists
You are the creative head of your garage band? Use IMANDIX to see how your cover drafts would look like in a real case before printing them.
Record labels
Assuming, that you are the boss of a record label and you want to show your CDs animated at your web site. Just load the CD cover bitmaps and export as dynamic JavaScript driven HTML!
Web designers
Enhance your web site using 3D styled photos and pictures. IMANDIX Cover does not only converts picture material into cover cases. It can position photos in 3D or create rotating picture collections.
Marketing professionals
You can show your covers more realistic at your flyers, posters or commercial ads. They are more eye catching than the flat front cover bitmaps.
Software developers
You can create virtual product shots of your software. In case you are selling only files over the Internet, but you want to show a virtual cover, IMANDIX is the right one for you. Show software boxes or “sell” your software in a DVD case… It’s up to you!
I try to implement the saving of dynamic scenes as real transparent PNG files as it works at the static views. I began with coding this… Currently I do not know when this is ready. I know that there are a lot of people waiting for the batch saving routine. This is one of the next parts.
The next version can handle the Super Jewel cases!
There are two CD Jewel cases implemented to play with. One with an opaque and one with a transparent left edge. You can see the inside cover within this transparent area.

As you can see, it is possible, to see the inner cover through the transparent area.
This band is called Daturana. Please check their profile at myspace: www.myspace.com/daturana
IMANDIX creates dynamic 3D illustrations of CD Slim cases and CD Jewel cases.
This is an example of a cover, disc and inlet of the promo CD of the famous local band “Fuel to the Flames”. These 3 cover types and the background are simply added to a dynamic collection. That’s all! The software creates this scene within seconds for you.
IMANDIX can create dynamic 3D illustrations of nearly all Digipaks. The latest addition is this Digipak with 15 mm spine width for 2 CDs.
This example package contains the music CD and a DVD of a live concert of this band. The video is produced by state-tv. The label of this band is “People like you” records.

This is an original HTML output. Nothing has been changed at the exported files. The HTML export comes with 2 HTML files: One for the HTML site with JavaScript and one as DIV-Template with an embedded iframe Tag that links to the HTML site. To put these animation into a blog post you simply include the DIV part in the post text.
You can create 3D illustrations of a standard Amaray DVD cover.
It is also possible to position this cover in static views or in dynamic views. In dynamic views you can add up to 30 different covers to a collection and rotate them!
This example video case shows the british Punk band Deadline, the video is produced by state-tv.

This 3D illustration shows a collection of five DVD covers. You can adjust this collection by setting the distance of each cover to another, you can rotate the whole collection in any angle and scale it and you can set up the strength of the reflection in real time. These are standard features of every kind of collection. Best thing: You can create a mix of a collection containing different kinds of cover types.

This is an example of a poster added 3 times to a cover collection. The depth of the first poster is customized to a higher value. That gives the feeling of more perspective.
This example is the official tour poster of the great band 5Bugs. Picture courtesy of Rockhit Records.
