The current version is 0.9.2.8. It was updated on August, 19., 2009.
There are some modifications made. This version is recommended.

Features of previous versions (0.9.2.7):

  • DigiPak with two spines of 15 mm added in dynamic mode
  • Some internal bug fixing

    • Features of previous versions (0.9.2.6):

  • Digisleeve and Digipaks with spines from 4 mm to 10 mm added in dynamic mode
  • New Blu-ray boxes: 15 mm and 25 mm spine added in static mode
  • Changing the names of the cover types to avoid trademark violations
  • Bug fixing (eliminating the freezing when loading big JPG bitmaps)

      This is amazing software , but there seems to be a major slowdown after updating from 0.9.2.6 to the newer 0.9.2.8 release. Any ideas?

      I did not notice this. Thank you for pointing this out!

      I checked with my covers but it seems to be as slow (and fast) as before. Is there a special cover type you notice this? Is there a slowdown when loading or exporting? Can you please give some details, then I can check what has changed at these things.

      OK, I checked again and some testers verify it. Yes there is a slowdown. There is a longer pause now from selecting an image until it displays in the window. My own sample covers are very small so I did notice it. Please excuse, I try to get back to the speed we had before.

      When scaling down the loaded image the resample filter “Lanczos” is used in version 0.9.2.8. Before it was a faster filter called “Linear” that has not such a good quality as the slower Lanczos filter. But the older results are as good as the new results created with the last version. So the next update will use the Linear filter again.

      I’ve had the pro version of this for ages and love it, ocasionally i use the freeware version for certain things. it would be great if you could use the static view for every type of case, not just the amaray.

      Thank you… Currently I spend my time in more features and functions, but you are right, the software must offer more of these static DVD types and views.

      This software uses Windows specific graphic routines. And the development software I use is only available for Windows. Sorry!!!
